Our Story:
About Harper House Music Foundation
The Hudson River Music Festival is presented in partnership with Harper House Music Foundation.
Harper House Music Foundation is a public charity dedicated to musicians, their music, and their legacies.
When we took on the role of lead promoter for this festival, it wasn't a departure from our mission. It was an expression of it. Pete and Toshi Seeger spent decades building a musical culture along this river. The songs, the gatherings, the conviction that music belongs to communities — that's exactly what Harper House was built to support.
We invest in artists and music projects at every stage: helping musicians share their work, build sustainable careers, and leave lasting legacies. The Hudson River Music Festival is one part of that work. So is our support of the Criterion Theatre in Bar Harbor, our partnership with Maine Academy of Modern Music, and our grants to organizations like the Bob Dylan Center.

Music takes resources.
Legacies take intention.
Option 1
If this festival matters to you, Harper House is the organization working to make sure efforts like it don't disappear. Your support goes directly to that work.
Option 2
Harper House serves as a bridge: connecting community funding to projects that need exposure and support before local resources are in place to carry them forward. When that foundation is built, a project can sustain itself. Until then, that's our role.
If this festival matters to you,
your support helps make that bridge possible.
Harper House Music Foundation is a 501(c)(3) public charity. Gifts are tax-deductible to the full extent allowed by law.
