GENERAL

  • The gates open at 10:00 AM and event curfew is 9:00 PM on Sunday, June 21st, 2026


  • Hudson River Music Festival is single-entry only! Each ticket will be valid for a single-use entry scan – all exits are final!

  • Stay tuned. The full day event schedule will be available here.

  • VENUE PERMITTED ITEMS:

    Please help us stay committed to reducing our environmental impact and avoiding bringing in single-use plastics or disposable personal items

    • Patrons are permitted to bring up to a 1-gallon water container (Nalgene or Camelbak type bottles are acceptable) - completely empty or factory-sealed

      • Water stations will be located throughout the festival

    • Patrons are permitted to bring one small, personal-sized soft sided handheld cooler, as well as light snacks, refreshments, and beverages within reason. All coolers will be subject to search

      • COOLERS MUST BE SOFT-SIDED - NO HARD COOLERS PERMITTED

      • NO GLASS, NO ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES, & NO LARGE MEALS PERMITTED (such as catered meals, bulk food items, grillable food, etc)

      • -include line on baby care cabana & milk

    • Empty, reusable water bottles, or factory-sealed, unopened water bottles

      • Single-use plastic water bottles are discouraged

      • Water stations will be located throughout the festival

    • Empty CamelBak-style water bladder systems 

    • Small backpacks and purses are permitted 

      • All bags, purses, and coolers will be subject to search

    • Personal Identification & medical documentation, in case of emergency

    • Cash 

      • ATMS WILL NOT BE AVAILABLE ONSITE

    • Rain gear, such as ponchos, rain jackets, rainboots, or small, personal-sized handheld umbrellas - this is a “rain or shine” event

      • Single-use plastic ponchos are discouraged

    • Small strollers and baby carriers

    • Extra pair of shoes, sneakers, or boots 

    • Bug Spray without Deet

    • Chairs under 30″ high are allowed. Chairs 30-34” high should be set up farthest from the stage or in designated shade areas. No recliners or footrests are allowed.

    • Blankets 

    • Sunscreen

    • Sunhats or ballcaps 

    • Bandannas

    • Sunglasses

    • Compostable bags for trash, compost, and recyclable materials

      • Our Zero Waste committee will be onsite to help you dispose of your waste in an environmentally friendly manner 

    • Earplugs

      • Single-use plastic earplugs are discouraged 

    • Non-professional cameras, without flash or removable lens

    • Spare car key

    • Small, standard-sized lighters

    • Smokers, please bring an ashtray! 

      • You have to pick up every cigarette butt you throw on the ground!

    • Certified guide dogs and service animals with up-to-date rabies vaccinations

      • allows ADA* recognized service animals trained specifically to assist a person with disabilities at all events. Animals whose sole function is to provide comfort or emotional support do not qualify as service animals under the ADA and are not permitted at the festivals. If you have a certified service animal, you will be required to have your service animal with you at all times. Under the ADA, service animals must be harnessed, leashed or tethered, unless these devices interfere with the service animal’s work or the individual’s disability prevents using these devices.

    VENUE PROHIBITED ITEMS:

    Please help us streamline your festival entry experience by making sure you leave prohibited items in the car or at home!

    • Large hard coolers are not permitted

    • Catered meals, bulk food items, grillable food, etc. “don’t bring a pizza, one slice at a time”

    • Glass containers of any kind

    • Grills

    • Wagons

    • Professional cameras with detachable lenses, video cameras (Small handheld cameras without additional lenses are fine)

    • Large bags over 20x20x10

    • Tents, pop-up tents, large shade structures and parasols, or large umbrellas

      • Large umbrellas and shade structures easily block patrons’ views of the stage, so please be courteous of others when selecting what to bring

    • Drones, remote-operated, or autonomous vehicles of any kind

    • Kites / Kite-flying

    • Personal, motorized vehicles will not be permitted into the festival grounds

      • This includes, but is not limited to: golf carts, ATVs, motor scooters, and powered skateboards)

    • Arrival by boat is not permitted

    • Focus light beam devices, including laser pointers

    • No pets of any kind 

      • Except service animals with up-to-date rabies vaccination

    • Any item that can be used as a weapon

    • Illegal substances or paraphernalia of any kind

    • Unauthorized vending 

    • Flyers, stickers, posters, etc.

    • Tiki torches, fireworks, fuel, or incendiary devices of any kind

    • Any item that can be used as a means to disturb the peace, endanger the safety of the crowd, or inflict damage to people and goods

    • Glowsticks, confetti, balloons, silly string, or any other items that can pollute the park and the environment 

  • Use the Rainbow Gate entrance at the southwest corner of the main cement parking lot.

  • Children twelve years and under are admitted free when accompanied by a GA ticketed adult.

    Kids 12 and under entering VIP with a parent or guardian will be required to have a “Kids VIP Ticket”

  • Yes – beer and wine are for sale at the Festival for attendees 21+ with a valid, government-issued, photo ID.

  • While patrons are allowed to bring in light snacks and refreshments, we will have many food and beverage vendors at the festival. These vendors can be found in the Food Court. There will also be some light snack vendors scattered throughout the grounds.

  • Yes! There will be food vendor options for vegetarian/vegan/gluten-free patrons.


  • We will have a great selection of local craft vendors to explore, as well as Activist Row, featuring various activist and environmental organizations for you to educate yourself and get involved with!

  • We are committed to ensuring that Hudson River Music Festival is accessible to everyone. To support this effort, our dedicated team of Access volunteers will be working onsite as a resource for any patrons who need assistance. We will provide a designated ADA parking area with accessible transportation available from the parking area to the main festival grounds, and throughout the grounds as needed. Additionally, we will provide an Accessible shuttle to and from the Croton-Harmon Train Station. Accessible viewing sections will be provided to ensure an enjoyable experience for all attendees, including an elevated platform on the main stage show field.

  • Yes! Experienced, ASL interpreters will be present at each of our Hudson Stage and Rainbow Stage performances for patrons to enjoy from the Deaf Zone, the dedicated viewing area right in front of the stage, available to any deaf or hard-of-hearing patrons.

  • Yes, we will have a designated ADA parking area available. Please show your ADA placard to parking attendants to access designated areas. GA or VIP Parking Passes are required. 


  • Yes, accessible viewing sections will be provided for your convenience, as well as an elevated viewing platform. Guests using ADA seating accommodations may bring companions and family members with them, but able-bodied guests may be asked to move in order to accommodate other guests with disabilities. All guests must have a valid festival ticket.


  • Yes! You can find our Access booth or Information Booth just inside the Rainbow gate and ask for assistance, or just locate any festival personnel wearing an event crew member t-shirt, and they will be happy to assist you directly, or will contact someone from the Access Committee to help you get where you need to go. 

VENUE

  • No – there are no ATMs at the Festival. Most vendors accept cashless payments.

  •  Yes: To improve the experience for all Festival-goers, please respect the following seating policy:

    • Foldable lawn-chairs only

    • Chairs under 30″ high are allowed. Chairs 30-34” high should be set up farthest from the stage or in designated shade areas. No recliners or footrests are allowed.

    • Do not leave chairs unattended - the festival is not responsible for unattended items, and any unattended items left in the showfield may be removed by festival security or working personnel for safety or security reasons if left unattended

    • Day Parking Passes will be sold for $20 per vehicle in advance when purchasing a ticket

    • VIP Packages include (1) VIP Parking Pass per order, with guaranteed access to parking in close proximity to the festival gates. VIP Parking Passes will be issued to the purchaser, or contact email associated with the order, at least one (1) day prior to the event date

    • Festival Day Parking Lot Open Time: 9:30 AM

    • Festival Day Parking Lot Close Time: 10:00 PM*

    *No overnight parking permitted in Day Parking Lots!


  • Box Office Hours are:

    • Sunday, June 21st: 9:30 AM - 7:00 PM

  • On-site Box Office - directly to the left when facing the Rainbow Gate main festival entrance.


  • No, power outlets will not be available for attendees to use in the event site. Please be prepared with a charged phone battery and/or portable charging battery pack if needed!

    We are currently working on securing a solar-powered community station for phone-charging.


  • No – there is no public WiFi available at the Festival.

  • There are regular and accessible port-o-johns throughout the Festival, and flushable comfort stations for VIP ticket-holders through the VIP Lounge tent.


  • No – there is no swimming at the Festival and there are no lifeguards on duty.

  • Yes – at the Information Booth – just inside the Rainbow Gate.


Transportation

  • Yes, we will have a designated ADA parking area available.


    • MTA app for easy ticket purchasing!

    • Amtrak: Take Amtrak straight to the Croton Harmon Train Station. It’s a convenient and scenic way to arrive.

    • Free Festival / Train Station Shuttle: Enjoy our looping bus service for a quick and easy ride to/from the festival & Croton-Harmon Train Station. 

    RIDESHARE/DROP-OFF

    When entering the destination in rideshare apps, please use the following address:

    4 Veterans Plaza, Croton-On-Hudson, NY 10520, USA

    Important Note: Rideshare vehicles will not be permitted to enter the park on event day. Drop-offs and pickups will take place at Croton-Harmon Train Station. From there, a free event shuttle will transport attendees to and from the festival.

    Walking/Biking Option: It’s about a 1.25-mile walk or bike ride from the train station to the festival entrance.

  • Enter appropriate directions to “Croton Point Park” in navigation.

    Event Day Parking: On-site parking is available. Parking passes can be purchased in advance online at hudsonrivermusicfestival.com 

    Bike Parking: Ride your bike to the festival! We have bike parking conveniently located near the festival entrance. Don’t forget to bring your own bike lock.

    • Day Parking Passes will be sold for $20 per vehicle in advance when purchasing a ticket

    • VIP Packages include (1) VIP Parking Pass per order, with guaranteed access to parking in close proximity to the festival gates. VIP Parking Passes will be issued to the purchaser, or contact email associated with the order, at least one (1) day prior to the event date

    • Festival Day Parking Lot Open Time: 9:30 AM

    • Festival Day Parking Lot Close Time: 10:00 PM*

    *No overnight parking permitted in Day Parking Lots! Any vehicles left in the day parking lot after the event is over, will be subject to tow. 

  • No - RV’s or pop-up trailers are not permitted. 


  • No – boat arrival / parking will not be available on the event site for festival attendees.


  • Yes – there is a bike parking area just outside the main festival entrance. The festival is not responsible for the ownership or safety of any bikes parked on the site.

  • Yes – Audience is encouraged to participate at our Circle of Song tent. Please do not play your instrument in crowded areas and please respect the performers on the stages and do not play next to the stage areas. There is no busking allowed so please do not open your instrument case for tips. Please do not leave your instrument unattended, and remember that owners are responsible for their personal belongings, including instruments, at all times.

  • No, the festival is a single-day event with no overnight camping available this year.


  • No, power outlets will not be available for attendees to use in the event site. Please be prepared with a charged phone battery and/or portable charging battery pack if needed!


  •  No – there is no swimming at the Festival and there are no lifeguards on duty.


  • There will not be printed programs, however all of the most up-to-date event information, including site map & event programming schedule, will be available on the Hudson River Music Festival website, as well as on-site at the information booth - directly through the Rainbow Gate event entrance once you enter the event site.
